Position: Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead our data-driven decision-making processes and provide actionable insights that shape the company’s strategic direction.

In this role, you’ll apply your analytical expertise to large, complex datasets — uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, and supporting departments such as product, finance, and operations. You’ll also mentor junior analysts and drive initiatives that strengthen BairesDev’s data culture and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst at BairesDev, you will:

  • Conduct deep, end-to-end data analyses to uncover key business insights, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Explore large, complex datasets to identify trends and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Investigate system and performance alerts to proactively detect and resolve potential service issues.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Apply expertise in ad tech, digital advertising, and DSP operations to improve reporting and performance tracking.

  • Lead automation projects aimed at eliminating manual processes and increasing operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, workflows, and performance metrics to ensure business continuity.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams — including product, development, and finance — to align analytics with organizational goals.

  • Support the finance department with billing data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.

  • Document and develop robust data and software solutions that enhance organizational data management.

  • Mentor and guide junior data professionals, promoting best practices and analytical excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

To thrive in this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data management or analytics roles, preferably within complex organizations.

  • Proven experience in digital advertising media analytics or ad tech environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

  • Ability to triage and prioritize issues efficiently across multiple projects.

  • Experience supporting finance and billing analytics.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience, particularly in remote, multicultural teams.

  • Advanced English proficiency — required for working across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems and ETL tools.

  • A passion for innovation, automation, and continuous process improvement.
