We are now expanding our Cloud Finance team and are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst – Finance to help us improve financial reporting, analytics, and decision-making capabilities across the organization.
Position Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst – Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the Cloud Finance team by analyzing complex datasets, building insightful dashboards, and enhancing financial data pipelines.
This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Finance, FP&A, and Business Operations teams to deliver actionable insights that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
This position offers the flexibility to work from home, in the office, or in a hybrid model, depending on your preference and location within India.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Data Consolidation & Analysis: Collect, consolidate, and analyze large datasets from multiple financial and operational systems to identify trends, patterns, and performance indicators.

Metadata & Data Structuring: Build metadata frameworks, define data inputs, and assign business context to raw financial and operational data.

Exploratory Data Insights: Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover trends and develop performance insights that support strategic business decisions.

Financial Reviews: Prepare and lead monthly and ad-hoc financial reviews with business partners, providing deep insights into variances and key performance drivers.

Forecasting & Systems Support: Collaborate with the FP&A team during monthly forecast cycles and high-impact projects, resolving systems-related issues and ensuring smooth data flows.

Data Visualization: Develop visually compelling dashboards and reports that enhance data transparency and accessibility for decision-makers.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Engineering, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.

Technical Excellence: Utilize advanced Python and SQL skills to build scalable code, automate processes, and streamline analytics workflows.
What You Bring to the Team

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.

MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:
-
4+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or analytics roles (preferably within Finance, Pricing, or Business Analytics).

Proven track record of working with large, complex datasets and transforming them into business insights.

Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL for building data pipelines, querying, and analysis.

Experience in Power BI, including data modeling, security configuration, and DAX.

Exposure to Azure REST APIs, Google Big Query, and Databricks is a strong plus.

Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Functions preferred.

Solid understanding of financial concepts such as direct and indirect costs, amortization, and management accounting principles (or a willingness to learn quickly).
