As part of our commitment to talent development, we are offering a Paid Remote UI/UX Designer Internship—an opportunity for budding designers to gain real-world experience, mentor-led training, and a platform to build a strong design portfolio.

Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will work closely with our product and design teams to help conceptualise, sketch, prototype, and design interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will contribute to all phases of the design process—from understanding user needs and wireframing to user testing and final mockups. This role is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to learn and contribute from anywhere in India.

This internship is ideal for students, design enthusiasts, and fresh graduates who want to jumpstart their careers in UI/UX, human-centred design, and product design.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Research: Help gather user insights through surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.

  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • UI Design: Design high-fidelity, visually appealing screens for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency in style, typography, and layout.

  • Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions, collect feedback, and iterate on designs based on user insights.

  • Design System: Assist in building and maintaining a design system or style guide with reusable components (buttons, icons, typography, etc.).

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with developers, product managers, and other designers to translate business requirements into elegant design solutions.

  • Design Documentation: Prepare and maintain design specifications, user personas, journeys, and other documentation to communicate your design decisions clearly.

  • Support & Feedback: Respond to feedback constructively, adapt designs iteratively, and produce design variants where needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

  • A strong foundation in UI/UX principles, design thinking, and user-centred design.

  • Hands-on experience (academic projects, personal work, or internship) using design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

  • Ability to build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or willingness to learn is a plus.

  • Knowledge of design systems and a component-based design approach is desirable.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to articulate design ideas and decisions effectively.

  • Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and iterate on design work rapidly.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and organised with efficient time-management skills.

  • Ability to work remotely, manage tasks independently, and meet deadlines.
