Role Overview

As a Remote Data Analyst, you will analyze, organize, and interpret data to support business growth and performance improvement. You will work closely with multiple departments to collect datasets, identify key patterns, build dashboards, and present insights clearly. Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Cleaning

  • Gather data from various internal and external sources.

  • Clean, validate, and maintain data accuracy to ensure reliable analysis.

  • Prepare structured datasets to support advanced reporting needs.

2. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to assist business teams in decision-making.

  • Translate raw metrics into meaningful insights that support product, marketing, and operational strategies.

3. Dashboard & Report Creation

  • Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft Excel.

  • Present data in clear, intuitive formats that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.

  • Automate recurring reports to support faster and more efficient workflows.

4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to understand data requirements.

  • Deliver insights and suggestions that contribute to business optimization.

  • Support teams with data-driven recommendations for strategic initiatives.

5. Documentation & Process Support

  • Create and maintain structured documentation for dashboards, data models, and analysis methods.

  • Ensure processes are easy to follow and accessible to relevant team members.

6. Testing & Performance Evaluation

  • Assist in A/B testing, hypothesis validation, and statistical analysis.

  • Monitor business KPIs and recommend necessary adjustments for improvement.

  • Evaluate the performance of campaigns, product features, and internal processes using data.

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • 1+ year of experience in data analysis or related work

  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with Tableau for dashboards and reporting

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to clean, structure, and interpret data effectively

  • Familiarity with performance metrics and business KPIs

  • Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

  • Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis

  • Experience with Power BI or Google Data Studio

  • Exposure to A/B testing or statistical modeling

  • Experience with automated reporting workflows
