Job Description

MetAntz is hiring a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a multi-billion-dollar US-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) representing one of the world’s most iconic enterprise brands. The role is based out of the customer’s Bengaluru (Bellandur) office and follows a hybrid working model, offering flexibility along with enterprise-scale exposure.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work on large, complex datasets, deliver meaningful insights, and influence key business decisions. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, helping teams measure performance, optimize processes, and drive growth using data.

This is a 1-year contract role with a high probability of extension, full-time absorption, or continuation across similar global customers through MetAntz.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.

  • Perform statistical analysis to support experimentation, hypothesis testing, and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks.

  • Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Improve and automate data workflows and reporting processes.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources.

  • Support ad-hoc analysis and deep-dive investigations into business performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field

Technical Skills

  • SQL: 3+ years of experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance

  • Tableau: Strong hands-on experience creating dashboards and visual analytics

  • Statistics: Solid understanding of hypothesis testing, regression, probability, and A/B testing

Experience

  • 3–10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar roles

  • Proven ability to work with large-scale, multi-source datasets

  • Experience communicating insights to senior business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)

  • Exposure to AI / Machine Learning concepts or predictive analytics

  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Knowledge of e-commerce, marketplace, or technology-driven businesses

  • Familiarity with additional BI or visualization tools

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

  • Collaborative mindset with attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment

Work Model & Contract Details

  • Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite at the customer’s Bellandur, Bengaluru office

  • Flexibility for remote work as per project needs

  • 1-year contract, with strong continuity options including:

    • Contract extension with the same GCC customer

    • Potential full-time absorption when roles open

    • Opportunity to work with MetAntz on similar global engagements

  • The GCC customer will provide an experience certificate for exclusive project work.
