Role Overview
Vekaria Healthcare LLP is seeking a Special Advisor – Government Affairs to provide strategic direction at the intersection of policy, governance, and business expansion. This role is ideally suited for a Retired IAS Officer (Gujarat Cadre) who brings deep administrative expertise and a strong understanding of Gujarat’s governance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Government Relations & Strategic Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact between the organisation and government stakeholders, including the Sachivalaya, Chief Minister’s Office, and regulatory authorities. Strengthen institutional relationships and facilitate approvals, collaborations, and policy discussions.
2. Policy Advisory & Intelligence
Provide expert insights into government policies across key sectors:
- Land & Revenue
- Industrial Development & Manufacturing
- Energy & Petrochemicals
- Healthcare & Public Health
- Tourism & Pilgrimage
- Defence & Strategic Projects
- Labour, Employment & Skill Development
- CSR & Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
- Law Enforcement & Home Affairs
3. Strategic Project Alignment
Guide leadership in aligning expansion initiatives with Gujarat’s socio-economic priorities. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while identifying opportunities for policy-driven growth.
4. Governance & Institutional Strengthening
Embed best-in-class governance practices, leveraging IAS-level administrative discipline, ethical standards, and procedural rigour.
Candidate Profile
- Retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer – Gujarat Cadre
- Extensive experience in senior government roles and policymaking
- Strong network within Gujarat’s administrative and regulatory ecosystem
- Proven expertise in governance, policy implementation, and public administration
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with a collaborative leadership style
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory and political environments
