Role Overview
Wipro is recruiting an experienced GCP Data Engineer to join its technology delivery team in Hyderabad.
In this role, you will interpret complex data and transform raw information into strategic business insights, executive reports, and interactive visualisation dashboards. You will manage the technical scope of data projects across all stages—gathering data from warehouses and databases, building automated data pipelines, developing record management policies, and delivering data-driven proposals and account reviews to global enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Scope & Data Pipeline Engineering

Data Integration & Modeling: Gather, clean, and integrate information from diverse sources, enterprise data warehouses, and databases to interpret underlying trends and patterns.

Pipeline Automation: Set up, maintain, and scale automated data processes and pipelines to eliminate manual bottlenecks and ensure continuous data flow.

Validation & Cleansing: Identify, evaluate, and implement external tools and software services to support rigorous data validation and cleansing workflows.
Analytics, Dashboards & Predictive Modeling

Dashboard Design: Design and deploy comprehensive data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations using business analytics tools to showcase business performance and competitive benchmarking.

Dataset Mining: Mine and analyze large enterprise datasets, draw valid statistical inferences, and present actionable insights to senior management.

Predictive Solutions: Develop predictive models and share strategic insights with internal and external clients based on specific business requirements.
Client Collaboration & Process Efficiency

Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships across client bases, acting as a trusted advisor to translate business needs into data-driven technical solutions.

Efficiency & Sales Support: Identify operational areas to increase automation, provide sales data,analytical proposals, and structured account reviews.

Performance Tracking: Produce and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee zero customer escalations, high CSAT scores, and absolute data accuracy.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Professional Experience & Skills

Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics,with direct operational expertise on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Cloud & Data Stack: Proven proficiency in designing data integration architectures, database management, and building automated data pipelines on GCP.

Analytics & Visualization: Strong command of data visualization and reporting tools to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical mindset with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation solutions.
