🧩 Key Roles and Responsibilities – Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Firstsource, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing incoming data and reporting requests to assess feasibility, scope, and data availability

  • Participating in vetting processes for data requests within the Research division

  • Performing detailed product and business data analysis to support decision-making

  • Logging, tracking, and managing all data and reporting requests to ensure on-time delivery

  • Assisting in the development of standardized, user-friendly data reporting templates

  • Coordinating with internal teams for specialized data handling and reporting needs

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for recurring reports and analytics processes

  • Responding to internal and external data-related queries through emails or webinars

  • Ensuring adherence to ethical standards, data privacy policies, and applicable regulations

🛠️ Skills and Experience Required – Data Analyst

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • Advanced SQL Skills: Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries

  • A/B Testing Expertise: Experience designing, executing, and evaluating experiments with statistical rigor

  • Professional Experience:

    • 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or a related analytics role

  • Data Visualization Skills: Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with Product, Growth, and Engineering teams

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong capability to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities

The ideal candidate will also bring:

  • Strong proficiency in advanced SQL concepts such as joins, window functions, and CTEs

  • Hands-on statistical knowledge, including confidence intervals, p-values, and sample size calculations

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to document processes and explain analytical insights effectively

📋 Additional Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with A/B Testing

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL
