About the Role
As a Data Analyst in BR&AF, you will support global audit teams, risk partners, and senior leaders by delivering advanced analytics that guide decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to improving control environments, detecting anomalies, identifying risk patterns, and implementing analytics frameworks across multiple regions and business functions.
This role demands strong technical skills, analytical thinking, business understanding, and a collaborative mindset. You will be instrumental in helping Randstad adopt innovative analytics technologies—such as machine learning, predictive models, and generative AI—to enhance audit and risk operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the Analytics Roadmap
You will help develop, enhance, and roll out the BR&AF analytics strategy. This includes identifying opportunities for automation, analytics integration, and technology enablement across audits, investigations, and control assessments.
2. Perform Advanced Data Analysis
Your responsibilities include:

Data profiling, cleansing, and validation

Data mining and trend analysis

Predictive modeling for risk insights

Building dashboards and visual reports
-
Leveraging statistical techniques to detect anomalies
You will transform raw data from various internal and external sources into meaningful insights that support audit objectives and business discussions.
3. Support Audit & Risk Management Activities
Work with global audit teams to embed analytics into audit procedures, sampling, root cause analysis, and internal control evaluations. You will ensure high-quality analytics outputs and support the teams in interpreting and utilizing insights effectively.
4. Drive Innovation & Technology Adoption
The role includes researching and evaluating the latest tools, frameworks, and AI-driven methods to modernize audit analytics. This involves experimenting with machine learning, generative AI, and automation to improve efficiency and impact.
5. Strengthen Data Governance
Support efforts to establish clear governance around data retention, lifecycle management, control structures, and technology sustainability across BR&AF.
6. Build Capabilities Across Teams
You will coach and assist non-technical colleagues, helping them understand analytics results and enabling them to adopt a data-driven mindset. This includes documentation, knowledge-sharing, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple countries.

Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should bring:

5–8 years of experience in data analytics or related fields

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, Mathematics, or equivalent

Proven experience in:

Machine Learning (5+ years)

Data Visualization (5+ years)

Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling (5+ years)

Certifications such as CAP, CDMP, CISA, or CISSP (preferred)

Business English proficiency (B1/B2 or higher)

Ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences

Strong problem-solving, innovation, and stakeholder management skills
-
Willingness to travel (20–30%) as part of global assignments
