Role Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will bring structure, clarity, and consistency to datasets collected from multiple stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring every research output is backed by validated, well-documented data.

Your work will directly support flagship reports and strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Data Cleaning & Structuring

  • Clean, standardize, and validate datasets across hiring, education, and compensation domains.

  • Consolidate information from employers, universities, surveys, and partnerships.

  • Identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and missing data.

  • Maintain clear documentation and version control practices.

2️⃣ Research & Insights Support

  • Prepare reliable datasets for research studies and public reports.

  • Identify patterns and signals in workforce and career data.

  • Translate findings into concise, non-technical summaries for leadership and editorial teams.

  • Ensure data accuracy before publication.

3️⃣ Dashboarding & Tracking

  • Build structured trackers for research workflows and partnerships.

  • Create simple dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Monitor ongoing data integrity across projects.

4️⃣ Data Governance & Quality Control

  • Maintain formatting standards and naming conventions.

  • Ensure datasets meet high standards of credibility and clarity.

  • Support auditability through disciplined documentation.


Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Research, HR Analytics, Consulting, or EdTech.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, validation).

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python.

  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI.

  • Strong understanding of data modelling and structured workflows.

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline.

  • Ability to communicate insights in simple, clear language.

  • Ownership mindset and accountability in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI tools for data workflows.

  • Experience using survey tools.

  • Exposure to workforce analytics, hiring data, or compensation research.
