Job Overview

Rex.zone is hiring for Entry-Level STEM Jobs in India focused on AI/ML evaluation and data operations. This remote, full-time opportunity involves supporting AI and machine learning workflows, including training data quality, RLHF evaluation, prompt evaluation and QA testing for large language models.

Candidates will work with structured annotation and evaluation workflows across areas such as NLP, named entity recognition, computer vision and content safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data labelling for text and vision datasets.
  • Complete RLHF-style preference ranking and response quality scoring.
  • Evaluate prompts and AI model outputs for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Identify hallucinations, policy violations and formatting issues.
  • Apply named entity recognition and taxonomy tagging.
  • Perform content safety labelling across relevant categories.
  • Audit datasets for duplicates, label noise and distribution gaps.
  • Document edge cases and provide clear rationales for decisions.
  • Track accuracy, agreement rates and other quality metrics.
  • Participate in QA calibration sessions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve evaluation guidelines.
  • Compare model outputs across different variants and document findings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • STEM background with strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
  • Understanding of NLP and/or computer vision annotation concepts.
  • Ability to follow detailed data annotation guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and recommend improvements.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly document decisions and report issues.
