What the Role Involves – Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping data-driven decisions across the e-commerce and payments landscape. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver insightful reports, advanced data models, and dashboards that guide business strategy.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Data Analyst

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business questions and analytical needs.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize SQL-based datasets, views, and queries.

  • Design and manage dashboards in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.

  • Execute BAU (Business As Unusual) tasks, ad-hoc analysis, and critical payments projects.

  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.

  • Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams for seamless data solutions.

  • Simplify complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

  • Contribute to the automation and standardization of recurring Finance/Accounting reports.

Required Qualifications – Senior Data Analyst

  • Experience: 5+ years in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or related analytics roles.

  • SQL Expertise: Strong command over complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.

  • Tools: Proficient in Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of dbtCloud is a bonus.

  • Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience in the e-commerce sector.

  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving, strong communication, and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications – Senior Data Analyst

  • Exposure to the Fintech sector.

  • Familiarity with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift.

  • Experience with version control (Git) or workflow orchestration tools.

  • Basic Python or advanced analytics experience.
