About the Role

Policybazaar is looking for a highly analytical and motivated Data Analyst with a strong engineering and mathematical background. The selected candidate will work with large datasets, perform root cause analysis (RCA), build dashboards, and develop predictive analytical solutions that enable data-driven business decisions.

This role requires expertise in SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI or Amazon QuickSight, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover business insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or Amazon QuickSight.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and predictive analytics.
  • Build reports that support business and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Enable faster business decisions using real-time data analysis.
  • Support business growth through actionable insights and forecasting.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra.
  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Advanced Formulas).
