Job Overview

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is hiring an experienced Business Analyst – Liquidity Risk for an onsite role in Bengaluru. This position is ideal for professionals with 3+ years of banking domain experience and strong expertise in liquidity risk, regulatory reporting, and data-driven analysis.

As a Business Analyst, you will work on global regulatory transformation programs, supporting liquidity risk frameworks, data validation, and functional analysis across enterprise banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity Risk & Regulatory Analysis

  • Analyze and support Basel III Liquidity Risk frameworks

  • Work on Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) calculations

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across liquidity risk processes

  • Support enhancements related to global banking regulations

Business & Functional Analysis

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from risk and regulatory stakeholders

  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD)

  • Translate regulatory requirements into functional system specifications

  • Support functional testing and validation activities

Data Analysis & Validation

  • Perform SQL-driven data analysis and validation

  • Work with large datasets related to liquidity, risk, and finance

  • Support data modeling and reconciliation activities

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems

Asset Class Exposure

  • Work with data related to Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

  • Understand product-level impact on liquidity risk calculations

  • Support cross-asset regulatory reporting requirements

Agile & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work in Agile delivery environments

  • Collaborate with IT, risk, finance, and global stakeholders

  • Support sprint planning, UAT, and release activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain

  • Strong expertise in Liquidity Risk and Basel III regulations

  • Hands-on experience with LCR and NSFR

  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis

  • Experience with BRD, FSD, and functional testing

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies

  • Understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
