As a Data Analyst at Scry AI, you will be the bridge between raw data and meaningful business decisions. You’ll collect, analyze, and interpret data from diverse sources to identify key trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for optimization across products, marketing, and client success.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Management

Extract, clean, and structure data from multiple sources — databases, APIs, CRM systems, product usage logs, and internal dashboards.

Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.

Maintain well-organized datasets that can be easily accessed and used for recurring analyses.

Implement best practices for data governance and integrity within the analytics function.
2. Analysis and Reporting

Build and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product adoption, user engagement, campaign success, and client retention.

Conduct deep-dive analyses, including cohort, funnel, trend, and segmentation studies, to identify patterns and opportunities for growth.

Perform root cause analysis for operational anomalies, client performance variations, or product issues.

Develop predictive or descriptive models (where applicable) to support strategic planning.
3. Business Insights and Collaboration

Collaborate with product, marketing, and account management teams to frame analytical questions and define success metrics.

Present findings in visually intuitive formats, turning data into stories that inspire action.

Support leadership teams with ad-hoc analyses during quarterly reviews, go-to-market (GTM) planning, and roadmap decisions.

Translate analytical insights into recommendations for process improvements, feature prioritization, and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst in a SaaS or technology-driven company.

Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.

Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics or automation is a plus.

Deep understanding of analytics for product, marketing, and customer success teams.

Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex analysis in a clear, actionable manner.

Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and storytelling ability.
