About the Role – Senior Data Analyst
The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in driving the growth and performance of Moniepoint’s payment products. The role focuses on analyzing user behavior, monitoring product metrics, and generating insights that improve user acquisition, retention, and product engagement.
The analyst will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, business teams, and marketing teams to ensure that payment solutions align with market needs and business goals. This role requires strong analytical thinking, experimentation skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Data Analyst
Product Analytics & Insights
Work closely with product managers, business teams, development teams, and data engineers to monitor product metrics and KPIs. Translate business questions into meaningful analysis and actionable insights.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Develop and maintain scalable dashboards and self-service visualization tools using platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
Growth & Marketing Analytics
Own end-to-end analytics for marketing and growth products, including data requirement gathering, opportunity sizing, experimentation, and post-launch impact analysis.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across technology, product, and business teams, acting as a strategic bridge between these departments.
Experimentation & Statistical Modeling
Apply advanced analytical methods such as A/B testing, multivariate testing, clustering, and supervised learning to solve product and business challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications – Senior Data Analyst
Professional Experience
3–4 years of professional experience in a quantitative analysis role within consulting firms, investment banking, or technology companies.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SQL (tested during the recruitment process).
Experience with Python and statistical programming tools such as Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter notebooks.
Experimentation & Product Analytics
Experience designing and analyzing experiments in digital products, including A/B tests and multivariate testing.
Data Visualization
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar analytics platforms.
Communication Skills
Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
