About the Role
The Data Analyst will report to the Global Manager, Data Access Control and play a key role in the Data Governance team. This role focuses on managing technical aspects of data governance while ensuring that all data access requests follow established policies and procedures.
The analyst will also work with ETL pipelines, data governance frameworks, and business intelligence dashboards to maintain secure, accurate, and well-governed organizational data. The role requires a customer-focused mindset and the ability to support business decisions with meaningful data insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & ETL
Build and automate reliable data pipelines using tools like Magic ETL and Python. Integrate metadata from multiple systems to ensure high-quality and accessible data for reporting and auditing.
Advanced Data Visualization
Design and maintain advanced dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Domo. These dashboards should provide clear insights for executive stakeholders and support decision-making.
Data Governance
Ensure data integrity across the organization by implementing governance standards related to consistency, security, and accuracy.
Strategic Data Analysis
Conduct deep data analysis to identify trends and patterns. Convert complex datasets into clear insights that support strategic business initiatives.
Modernization & Mentorship
Help transition reporting systems toward automation. Guide junior team members on best practices in Python, data analytics, and BI tools.
Data Quality Monitoring
Track data quality issues, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain reliable data systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy)

Advanced SQL skills

Experience building ETL pipelines and data workflows
Business Intelligence Expertise
Hands-on experience with at least one BI platform such as Domo, Power BI, or Tableau.
Analytical Thinking
Ability to solve complex data problems independently and work effectively in situations where processes are not clearly defined.
Data Governance Knowledge
Understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
Communication Skills
Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
