Role Overview – Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you will work with massive datasets (100TB+) covering over 100,000 global companies, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability for decision-making.
This role offers a hybrid work model with potential remote flexibility, aligning with modern workforce trends where professionals can collaborate from anywhere while contributing to global teams.
You will play a key role in building data quality frameworks, performing validation, and delivering insights through dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and manage large-scale financial datasets
- Design and continuously improve data quality frameworks
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
- Resolve Level 1 & Level 2 data issues, escalating complex problems to advanced teams
- Use SQL for complex queries, joins, and performance optimization
- Apply Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems
- Work with big data environments (100TB+ datasets)
- Apply statistical techniques to detect anomalies and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally
- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation concepts
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Hands-on experience with Python programming
- Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Exposure to big data environments
- Knowledge of statistics for data monitoring and anomaly detection
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle diverse and multi-source datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in BCA, MCA, or Engineering
- Minimum CGPA of 8+
- At least 1+ years of experience in SQL and Python
- Experience in the Finance or FinTech domain preferred
- Exposure to financial datasets is an advantage
